Spotlight integrates techniques of theater games and dramatic training with highly motivating and age-appropriate activities (such as video games, knowledge-based trivia games, etc.), as well as a positive social reinforcement-based environment to foster skill development in core deficit areas. We are currently looking for Bachelor’s and Master’s level interns enrolled in programs including psychology, sociology, social work, education, special education, drama therapy, communication disorders, theater arts, and film.

Spotlight offers an exciting and enriching environment for interns to accrue hours in their chosen field. Supervision hours can be completed with a BCBA (board certified behavior analyst) or a LICSW (licensed clincial social worker).

Spotlight offers a supported and structured intern program with clinical and community opportunities. Interns will be exposed to clinical meetings, case review, curriculum, project management, community outreach, data collection and analysis, clinical report writing and program development. Interns have and opportunity to develop their own curriculum in an area of interest and offer it to the community. Last year our “Dr. Who” group was our intern, Erika’s, project! It was so well received we ran the program twice!
