students ages 9-22 with social-emotional challenges,
including those diagnosed with
Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, ADHD, Anxiety,
Depression and more.

NEW! Teens in Transition Saturday Group
|

After the success of our summer Teens in Transition group we are pleased to offer a new Saturday group for teens ages 14-19 which will incorporate community field trips, guest speakers and support groups into the curriculum, which will help teens prepare for the transition into adulthood. We will address skills such as independence, self awareness and identity, community living, understanding dating and relationships, education and employment and more. Parents and Teens
Drop-in Support Groups - New Day and Time |

Our teen
groups, mediated by Spotlight staff, offer a supportive
group environment in which teens ages 14-19 can discuss the
myriad issues facing them today, including school, friendship
and relationships. Boys and girls groups are held separately.
$15 per session or 6 sessions for $60. Please RSVP by noon on
the day of group to
rgirard@ne-arc.org.
We are also pleased to introduce our
parent support group which will allow parents
to receive support from one another around issues relating to
parenting a transition-aged child with social-emotional
challenges. $10 per group. Please RSVP by noon on the day of
group to

OnQ Fall 2010
Registration Now Open! |

OnQ is a social pragmatics program for
children ages 6-10 who have been diagnosed on the autism
spectrum. Children are encouraged to learn and practice
skills in an activities-based setting which encourages
interaction and communication with peers and counselors. Registration for our Fall semester is
now open for Saturday groups. The registration deadline for OnQ
is September 21st and the Fall semester begins on September
28th, so please register now!

Spotlight is now offering drop in Homework
Help times for all Spotlight kids and teens! Counselors will be
available to help Spotlighters get work organized for the week,
start and organize a project, or simply complete homework. This
is a great way to get some homework help while avoiding homework
arguments! Mondays during the Spotlight semester |
